The Meaning Behind Heaven Stones
HEAVEN STONES® is the name of my custom created, handcrafted cremation ashes jewelry.
My name is Rev. Dr. Sandra Byland and I am an award winning fine artist and jewelry designer, Interfaith Minister and Animal Chaplain.​

My calling is to help those who mourn to be reminded that love is forever. That love never dies and that our dear ones are as close as our thoughts.
Each Heaven Stone is unique and individual,
as unique as the individual beautiful
person or animal that it represents.
Heaven Stones are solidified ashes set into sterling silver, gold,
or stainless steel as permanent keepsakes of your loved ones
who have passed.
How Heaven Stones Are Created
My Heaven Stones® are made from a mixture of a small amount of the cremains, natural earth pigments and a very special high grade jeweler's resin that creates the beautiful shiny stone.
This is a technique which I created over many months of trial and error a number of years ago, finally landing on a personal formula that fit my visions and expectations.

It is always an honor to work with a family who has lost a loved one, whether it is a person or a beloved pet. Each piece is treated with the greatest reverence and respect.

It is important to create something that will bring peace, comfort and joy to the recipient - something lasting that will allow them to keep something precious of their loved one close to them always.
Compassion Through Creativity
After nearly 20 years of focusing my spiritual outreach on helping those who grieve, and after losing numerous loved ones of my own - including MANY animal family members - I found a way to combine my calling for compassionate outreach to include my creativity through the creation of Heaven Stones®.
It is my prayer that others might be comforted through this sacred work as they travel the journey through loss and transition.
